The Xiaomi Caravan brand activation from concept creation to onsite production

WaveCrest Romania collaborated with Xiaomi to create Xiaomi Caravan - an interactive pop-up space where technology meets fun. It gives consumers the chance to explore the latest products, take on exciting challenges, and win surprise prizes. WaveCrest’s team created the Xiaomi Caravan concept from start to finish—from creative concept design to production and on-site implementation. 

Xiaomi Caravan tour started in Afi Cotroceni Mall in Bucharest where consumers were invited to test the latest Xiaomi products from the Redmi Note 14 Series. They were also encouraged to explore the IP68 protection and experience its all-star durability through an interactive challenge.

Activation mechanics

  • Consumers received a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 participation bracelet, which changed colour upon contact with water. 
  • They were challenged to reach into the IP68 boxes and zoom in and out on the Redmi Note 14 Series screen to identify the correct symbol within a limited time, experiencing the phone’s durability in an interactive way.
  • Upon successfully completing the challenge, consumers took a photo and joined the social media topic using the hashtag #IP68CheckDone. As a reward, they received a gift.

 

 

Xiaomi also invited local influencers Louis Florea and Y.O.Y.O, who were among the first to experience the new series. They independently created social media content, live-streamed from inside the caravan, and engaged with consumers at the event.
