Brief
WaveCrest was chosen to execute renewal of oral care product shelves in 83 K-Citymarket stores across Finland together with Haleon. The project aimed to renew and standardize the shelf layout for oral care products in each store, following the plans provided by the store chain. Renewals were carried out in three different scales, based on the size and type of the store.
Solution
The top priority of this project was quality execution. Together with the client, it was decided to keep the implementation team as small as possible but still proceed from start to finish within one month period.
WaveCrest’s team contacted all 83 stores to schedule the implementation date well in advance before starting the project. Clear communication with the stores was a key factor in ensuring the success of this project as well as in-store projects in general.
Approximately two days were allocated for the completion of the renewal in each store. The whole renewal project strictly followed the quality requirements set by the stores, making it essential that the team’s work was precise and consistent throughout each location.
Results
WaveCrest’s team personally handled the renewal in 77 stores from start to finish. The remaining stores opted to complete the updates independently, but the WaveCrest team still visited these locations to inspect the outcomes and document the completed shelf set ups.
The project included stores across Finland, leveraging WaveCrest’s nationwide network of merchandisers. During the project, WaveCrest’s team worked nearly 1,600 hours and traveled over 10,000 kilometers to ensure that each store received high-quality and unified oral care shelves.
WaveCrest’s commitment to quality and meticulous scheduling ensured the project’s success, fulfilling the client’s expectations down to every detail.
